For the 2025 season, a well-known American NASCAR team will compete in the NASCAR Euro Series with the #30 Ford Mustang: With the signing of Gil Linster for the OPEN championship and Liam Hezemans for the PRO division, Rette Jones Racing will make its debut in the European NASCAR scene. One of the most successful teams in the history of the NASCAR Euro Series, Hendriks Motorsport, owned by Roy Hendriks, will service the vehicle. Hezemans and Linster will be competing in a setting they are familiar with from previous seasons, but everything is new. Hezemans, the 2022 OPEN winner, has already won multiple professional races. The Dutchman is a fierce champion contender in NASCAR in Europe who has previously parked his vehicle in the PRO victory lane four times.
His teammate Linster, who has already won two races in the OPEN division, will be competing there once more. Both drivers have joined Rette Jones Racing for the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series season after spending a lot of time together in the USA. The organization led by Terry Jones and Mark Rette has extensive experience in US stock car racing. The team has competed in more than 150 races in the various divisions of the ARCA Menards Series, as well as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. By establishing a presence in Europe, the team will make its first international NASCAR steps with Hendriks Motorsport as a dedicated partner by its side.
The team also has two drivers with a lot of EuroNASCAR experience in Hezemans and Linster. “Our Rette Jones Racing team is proud today,” said Rette, a co-owner of the team. “Since late last year, we’ve been exploring opportunities to expand our platform internationally, and entering the NASCAR Euro Series with Gil and Liam is a perfect fit for our organization. We’re thrilled to partner with two proven, winning drivers and to be technically aligned with Hendriks Motorsport – one of the most respected teams in the NASCAR Euro Series.” “I am very excited to join Rette Jones Racing for the 2025 season,” said Hezemans.
“I’m honored to be a part of this new chapter, and the chance to represent an American team in the NASCAR Euro Series is a major step for me. I have no doubt that this team’s experience and resources will enable us to compete for victories and the championship from the very beginning. Linster added: “I am very proud to continue my journey in the NASCAR Euro Series with Rette Jones Racing. This is a significant chance, particularly with the backing of a highly regarded American club.

Last year’s ARCA Daytona race was a significant turning point in my motorsport career, and as I develop as a driver, I’m excited to expand on the connections I’ve built in the US. I have no doubt that this collaboration will enable me to advance professionally. The NASCAR Euro Series’ founder and CEO, Jerome Galpin, is happy to announce Rette Jones Racing for the 2025 season: “The journey we started in 2009 to strengthen transatlantic links within the NASCAR family continues with the exciting addition of Rette Jones Racing to the NASCAR Euro Series. Being a reputable and competitive team in American NASCAR racing, their advent adds professionalism, new energy, and another invaluable experience to our squad paddock.
A growing number of drivers and teams from the United States are realizing the enormous opportunity our European championship presents, both on and off the track. Both the series and NASCAR’s international expansion are flourishing at this time. Terry Jones, a co-owner of the team, expressed his excitement about the implications of this growth for Rette Jones Racing. “Being a part of the NASCAR Euro Series is a significant step for us and provides access to even more global opportunities.” We’re excited to support Liam and Gil, two gifted and driven drivers, in Europe and to pave the way for their eventual racing careers in the US as part of our long-term goals.
The NASCAR Euro Series program will be based in Europe and will be managed by team co-owner Mark Rette and Greg Zipadelli, who was recently appointed Vice President of Business Operations. Throughout his career, Zipadelli, a well-known crew chief, has collaborated with Joey Logano and Tony Stewart. In addition to being competitive as soon as the season begins on April 12–13 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, Rette Jones Racing wants to give European drivers a way to participate in NASCAR races in the United States. Live coverage of the qualifying and races will be available on EuroNASCAR’s YouTube site as well as on many international television networks.
