The Greatest of NASCAR

With former NASCAR Cup driver Greg Biffle teaching him, the 30-year-old Nebraska native will be back in an ARCA car at Talladega later this month and at Bristol in September, whether you know him as YouTube video producer Cleetus McFarland or as driver Garrett Mitchell of Rette Jones Racing. “I keep threatening to run one of the ARCA races so we can race together as teammates, and we keep talking about it,” Biffle remarked. “I am unable to motivate myself to accomplish it. We’ll see. I’m not sure why. In February, Mitchell made his ARCA debut at Daytona. In the season opener, he finished 17 of 80 laps before getting into a multi-car collision that sent him to 30th place.

Our goal is to complete more than 20 laps. Biffle stated, “That’s the first thing I’m hoping for,” in reference to Mitchell’s impending endeavor at Talladega. He did a fantastic job, but it’s challenging to teach everything in such a short amount of time to someone who has never done it before. I believe he gained a great deal of knowledge at Daytona, including the notion that accidents are unavoidable. The car won’t avoid it and won’t react quickly enough. In addition to owning the Freedom Factory in Bradenton, Florida, which he acquired for $500,000 in 2020, Mitchell, also known as Cleetus McFarland, is well-known for throwing Cleetus and Cars events.

1320Video marked the start of his automotive career. Following the success of a persona he created during Rocky Mountain Drag Week with Tom Bailey, he took up the moniker “Cleetus McFarland” in 2015. His YouTube channel, with 4.2 million subscribers, rapidly assumed the name Cleetus.
