Kyle Larson recorded the fastest laps for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Xfinity Series, while A.J. Allmedinger won the NASCAR Cup Series’ Xfinity Fastest Lap award at Bristol Motor Speedway. Shortly after making his last green-flag pit stop, Allmendinger set the Xfinity Fastest Lap on lap 396 of Sunday’s Food City 500. With an average speed of 124.759 miles per hour, Allmendinger earned the event’s bonus point with a lap time of 15.380 seconds. This season, Allmendinger has won two Xfinity Fastest Lap titles in the NASCAR Cup Series. In the season’s second race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he also took home the prize. After placing ninth on Sunday, Allmendinger is now 16th in the Cup Series championship standings, his third top-10 finish in the last five races.

Kyle Larson won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol, despite not winning the Xfinity Fastest Lap in the Cup Series this weekend. During the NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, Larson led 277 laps and finished the race with a time of 15.787 seconds on lap 106. Since Larson isn’t eligible for points in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, he didn’t receive the bonus point for the award. The No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports squad in the owner standings still receives the point, though. Larson’s fastest lap time for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was 15.381 seconds on lap 246.

The No. 07 Spire Motorsports squad received an extra point for this. In the event, Larson came in second to Chandler Smith. Larson took home the NASCAR Cup Series’ Xfinity Fastest Lap trophy at the Circuit of the Americas earlier this year. This weekend is off for the NASCAR Cup Series, but on April 18–19, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series will be back at Rockingham Speedway. On Friday at 5 p.m. ET, Fox Sports 1, the NASCAR Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will broadcast the Black’s Tire 200 for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

At 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, the NASCAR Xfinity Series will get the green light for the Black’s Tire-sponsored North Carolina Education Lottery 250. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, the Motor Racing Network, and The CW Network will all provide coverage.
