Kyle Sieg’s NASCAR Crash: Xfinity Star Share Harrowing Near-Death Experience.

The magic of Michigan is upon us as the Xfinity race has been recently. But the race was not so magical for those whose lives were on the line, Kyle Sieg did well in the first stage, closing in on the leaders of the Cabo Wabo 250.

He did not know that the race had a challenge. buy for him. The last lap of the Xfinity race was a shocking surprise for Sieg, as he recalled in a post-race interview. The pilot of Ryan Sieg Racing and the youngest son of the owner of the team Rod Sieg did not have a successful 2024 season in any way, he never finished in the top ten. Kyle Sieg, in his first year as a full-time driver, is still on top of NASCAR’s essential details.

And the sport made a painful discovery for him today at Michigan International Speedway: how full of scary wrecks it is. The Cabo Wabo 250 has seen a few crashes before, but Sieg’s experience on the last lap was perhaps the worst.

Recounting the shocking incident to Bob Pockrass after the race, the driver of the No. 28 said: “We had a good finish here… we got some points in the first stage. You know how the green-white checkers work, almost destroyed, but here’s what really happened. It was on the back… We were all pushing and the age of 45 was in control. 42 just touched 48 and… 42 never left. From there, I went back to the camp and closed my eyes when I came back.

Continuing his harrowing story, Sieg revealed a disturbing physical impact. “When I came back, I thought it was over… Fortunately, it ended well. I feel a little pain in my right arm…it will be fine, but that’s it. I just gasped… I closed my eyes and found myself upside down with the wind on me. Here, it’s really ugly here. »

Kyle Sieg added meaningfully, “I don’t want to do it again,” clearly showing how terrifying this death-defying experience was for him.
