WWE star Braun Strowman has overcome injury to compete in NASCAR alongside Rey Mysterio.

WWE Superstar Braun Strowman appeared in the NASCAR South Point 400 despite being sidelined with a recent hip injury. At Las Vegas Motor Speedway as part of the NASCAR Cup Series, Strowman and WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio waved the green flag to officially start the race. Strowman made a surprise appearance at the NASCAR event, winning the match considering the injury he suffered during his Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed on WWE Raw. The match ended dramatically when Seth Rollins slammed Reed into the steel steps. Despite the injuries, it was a moment of sportsmanship as Strowman and Rollins thanked the crowd for their applause. Strowman, known outside the ring as Adam Sherr, has been competitive in WWE and honors such as the WWE Universal Championship are the highlights of his career.

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer confirmed the injury at the time. He said (below): “Confirmed.” “Braun Strowman hits Bronson Reed with a Samoan Drop. Braun Strowman grabs him in the thigh/groin area and sends Bronson Reed into a chair and off the apron. “And this guy started running and I knew right away that this guy was sick.”According to Healthline, this type of injury can take four months or more to heal. Rey Mysterio is another big name in WWE who joined Strowman in Vegas this weekend. Mysterio, born Oscar Gutierrez Rubio, blazed a trail for legends. His presence at the NASCAR event was shared on social media, posting highlight photos from the day.

NASCAR has a tradition of having celebrities race in one way or another. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was recently named the marshal of the NASCAR Daytona 500, bringing fans to their feet when the race was postponed due to inclement weather. DJ Khaled also joined the star-studded event as an honorary selection. It seems that there are quite a few celebrities who want to enjoy this sport.
