The Green Bay Packers are coming off a narrow three-point road loss to the Detroit Lions last week and are looking to bounce back this Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks.
Despite holding a strong playoff position with a 9-4 record, the Packers are continuing to make roster adjustments.
According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, Green Bay worked out and signed edge-rusher Jeremiah Martin, a former UFL player who also spent time with the Cleveland Browns. Additionally, the team brought in defensive tackle Keith Randolph Jr. and defensive end David Ugwoegbu for workouts.
These moves, while minor, could affect the practice squad and potentially influence the composition of the 53-man roster.
For now, the team’s focus remains squarely on this week’s matchup against Seattle.
Head coach Matt LaFleur’s squad currently holds the NFC’s sixth seed. While they have some cushion over teams outside the playoff picture, they’re only one game ahead of the Washington Commanders, who occupy the NFC’s final wildcard spot.
The Packers have not yet secured a playoff berth. Their game against the Seahawks, who lead the NFC West with an 8-5 record and are riding a four-game winning streak, could be a preview of a potential playoff matchup.
A win on Sunday would give Green Bay its first 10-win regular season since 2021.
