Dale Earnhardt Jr. provided a lighthearted solution that might make this exhibition extremely exciting, especially since this year’s NASCAR All-Star Race is only two weeks away. Cup Series drivers don’t have to worry about the standings because the NASCAR All-Star Race is a non-points competition. It’s unclear when NASCAR will make the inevitable changes to its All-Star structure, but its decision-makers might want to hear Earnhardt’s thoughts. The two-time Xfinity Series champion shared his “solution” for the All-Star Game on the most recent episode of the “Dale Jr. Download” podcast. He’s involved, believe it or not. Earnhardt suggested that he participate in an exhibition. In this case, he would not be the only legendary driver to return.

Earnhardt also hinted that Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, and Jeff Gordon would enter the All-Star Race. “I have a solution. Earnhardt stated, via On3, “This All-Star Race is, it’s an exhibition, no points.” “And I am aware that this will never occur, but over the past few years, there has been some discussion about getting Jeff Gordon, myself, and a few other drivers into the All-Star Race. This was the case when the race was held in Bristol a few years ago before Wilkesboro returned. Jimmie and I were going to discuss the pricing, our demands, and other details. As you might imagine, there was a genuine conversation that ended there.

“You know, man, I wish Harvick and all these other drivers could return and run that All-Star Race,” the fans will remark. Driving a less expensive car is the more economical method to make that happen. There are several possibilities for that, but in my opinion, the Late Model Stock is a good one. It’s certain that NASCAR fans would be thrilled to see Earnhardt, Gordon, and the rest of this talented group return to the racetrack.
