After competing in go-karting against future Formula 1 driver Logan Sargeant and other racing series for years, Toni Breidinger is a rookie in this year’s Craftsman Truck Series. Breidinger broke her arm in a serious collision when she was young, and once she healed, she went on to have a prosperous teenage career driving midget cars. Before moving up to the NASCAR Truck Series this year, the first Arab-American woman to race in NASCAR first gained experience in the ARCA Racing Series, which she joined full-time in 2022 and achieved remarkably consistent performances in. “It’s a lot about growth on the track,” Breidinger said in an interview with People Magazine about her racing career and her success as an influencer. However, off the track, growing my fan base is really important.

I enjoy having the opportunity to inspire and connect with a wider audience, especially women. Going on, the 25-year-old said, “My parents really did not know anything about NASCAR as I was growing up.” “I remember bringing this document to my parents and saying, ‘This is what I need to do, this is my plan on how I’m going to become a NASCAR driver,'” she continued. I told them, “I’m going to move to North Carolina and try to be a NASCAR driver after I graduate from high school,” when I was seventeen years old. She ended with the startlingly candid statement, “Honestly I kind of just winged it, but thankfully it’s worked out.”
