While discussing his son Brexton and his racing career, Kyle Busch had a slight jab at Kyle Larson. When asked about Brexton’s growth on the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Busch made a comparison between it and Larson’s professional accomplishments. In the April 28 premiere, Kyle Busch stated, “I look at Kyle, ‘Tiny’ Kyle Larson.” He is undoubtedly one of the best talents in our field right now, as well as in the dirt world, in my opinion. He can move quickly and get into anything at any time. He has benefited greatly over the years, in my opinion, from the dirt world, having that knowledge, and feeling at ease being crooked, sideways, and without a hold being able to carry cars further than they were potentially worth. And then obviously the pavement side as well, just kind of get that craft as well of being on the pavement.”
When it comes to Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch is correct. Busch continued discussing Brexton and his racing career. Although he claims he wants to, Busch remarked, “I don’t know that he needs to go Sprint Car racing.” “I think he should get some races in some of that stuff a little later on down the road, but Mom definitely doesn’t want him to go that way.” Although Kyle Larson is “tiny,” Kyle Busch is correct that he is among the greatest in the racing world. Larson’s third victory of the season came Sunday when he won the NASCAR Cup Series race of the day,” at Kansas. “I think that was our longest run, so I was really trying to pace myself .” Larson said after the race. “I’d been struggling a little bit at the end of the runs. Chase was really good, so I just felt like I needed to try to be better on my end.
“I’m not sure if that ultimately paid off or not. I was still having trouble. I was scared that a right rear or whatever would give up because I was losing a lot of grip and shaking a lot. I’m not sure if this was because the right front was starting to wear out or anything.
